How can I get started?

We recommend getting in touch with Daniel, first to discuss your requirements, to see what is possible, and carry out a feasibility study on your renovation idea. From there, he’ll be able to map out the next steps for you and also advise on what you can expect regarding costs, timeline, requirements and plans.

Do I have to organise trades such as plumbers, electricians or tiler?

We have all trades available to undertake your project. Bakalich Builders have a network of hand-picked trusted trades who understand how we work. This provides one point of contact who looks after all the trades from the start to completing the project.

Do I need a building consent to renovate my bathroom?

Renovating a bathroom does not require a building consent unless there are alterations to the buildings structure such as removal of a wall, or the addition of a shower, hand basin, and toilet to a bathroom or ensuite, as these bathroom fixtures are additional to those already existing in the home.
